I’m very happy you love the book. I have to admit, though, I didn’t get it in England. Or did you know that? By chance, I went to the Bayview Mall, just down the street, where I never, ever go because there’s nothing in it—kind of the way the old Albion Mall was—but old people hanging out. I don’t think it’s been updated since the seventies or something. There are pretty much weird or shitty stores in there, cheap junk. I went because I was right beside it at Tim Horton’s with a friend and remembered that there’s a second-hand book shop in there as well, which I have been too but which didn’t impress me. And of course, lo and behold, there was a pile of four or five of the QB book. Stunned, I picked up two. I want to go back but haven’t had the time (it closes at old-people time), and if the other copies are gone, I might just keep the second copy for myself, even though it’s for Anne.
