Finally getting around to layout and paper testing. It’s harder than you would think! First, I’m no Photoshop whiz; second, I’m no designer; and third, measurements are way beyond me. But after a couple of tries, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it. Sort of.

My new Epson is a beautiful machine, but my new paper trimmer is shit. I don’t recommend it. It’s a “Swingline”.

Swingline! Like the stapler? Supposed to be a good name, I thought! That sucks. Can you take it back? You said it is new.

Anyway, the card looks FANTASTIC!! Adore the frogs. I would totally buy it. In fact, you would be the one I’d first send it to. Haha!

Colin says to get Andrew to put up an “under construction” page at http://www.strawberrysnail.com or have it redirect to this blog until you get it up and going. Having it come up as an error isn’t a good idea… :) Than later you can add this blog to the site as a separate page.

Also, why don’t you contact other card/stationery makers and ask them for help? Like on measurements and such. I’ve contacted other bloggers for tips on this book adventure.

Unless I want to spend $70.00 on a good paper cutter, it seems this is really all I’m going to get. I got a mid-range one, it was $30.00.
Yes! “Lost and Found”, Oliver Jeffers. I have it on my desk always because I look through it before I start to draw and colour. He is just so damn good.
